DISPOSE OF ASBESTOS SAFELY USING SUREPAK ASBESTOS WASTE BAGS

Correct asbestos removal is crucial to avoid exposure to inhaling dust, which can be harmful to the human body. At Surepak, our asbestos bags have the appropriate safety signs in red 'DANGER ASBESTOS DUST. Do not inhale dust. May cause lung cancer. Do not open or puncture bag.' to inform and minimise the risk of others disposing the waste incorrectly.

When using asbestos bags, they should be filled to half the capacity and excess air should be gently evacuated from the top, which needs to be twisted tightly in a folded position and sealed with adhesive tape to prevent subsequent rupture of the bag. Only unused bags should be used to pack, transport and store asbestos fibres. Asbestos waste should be double bagged to maintain the steps in the decontamination process. Bags marked as asbestos waste shouldn't be used for any other purpose to control potential dust emissions.

If you have any other questions on how to use our asbestos bags safely for your business, simply get in touch with our team at Surepak today and we'll be more than happy to help.

DANGERS OF INHALING ASBESTOS DUST EMISSIONS

The main danger of inhaling asbestos is that it can cause cancer. If asbestos isn't disposed of properly in heavy duty plastic bags, it can create an unsafe work environment for your workers. Prolonged exposure is dangerous as workers can experience difficulty breathing and can encounter a range of health conditions years later.

To avoid the dangers of asbestos and work-related risks, purchase your high quality and reliable asbestos bags from Surepak today.
