A fluteboard is a type of board or sheet that has a wave-like structure in between two sheets of card that helps reinforce strength and cushion items. It’s commonly used as a type of ‘board’ for a wide range of packaging purposes to protect items that are transported from one place to another. There are five main types of fluteboard sheets that can be selected for different types of uses from A-flute to F-flute. The main differences between the types of flute board is the thickness and the amount of ‘flute’ (folded paper or cardboard) that there are within sheets.

HOW DO YOU CUT FLUTEBOARD?
Fluteboard can be cut to size depending on the intended use. Depending on the thickness of the sheet, it can be cut with a Stanley knife or with scissors if the flute is thin. In some cases, a jigsaw may be required to cut thicker sheets to form the sizes that are needed. Fluteboards are mainly used for packaging to protect a product when it’s being transported and it’s made up of sheets that are adaptable and can be shaped for a variety of purposes.
